    MARINHO Visual Identity

    Marinho was born from the passion the Portuguese have for the sea. It is a homage to the Portuguese fishermen and the culture around it. Sardines are one of the most popular traditional foods in the country. Loved by many, tinned or fresh, they’re reminiscent of summer - the season of parties and sardines. Their smell fills the streets of the coast.

    ENDING A MESSAGE ACROSS Poster Series

    The meaning of praying as a Christian. It is a series of 3 posters that showcase the importance of praying and building a relationship with God.

    Matthew 13:31-32
    “31 The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed on his field;
    32 it is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

    VAC Visual Identity

    Visual Identity for the VAC or Visual Arts Cluster at the Univertity of East London

    The idea is to combine both the space and the look of the building (very geometric and stiff shapes + almost unfinished look - a space to create). with the energy the VAC brings to it which is the complete oposite. Very inspired by Art Noeveau because it perfectly shows how I can mix something “organic” (the VAC), into something more geometric and abstract.

    I
    WISH THE PORTUGUESE / QUERIA QUE OS PORTUGUESES
    Poster Design

    Poster design with a poem by Agostinho da Silva - “I wish the Portuguese / Queria que os Portuguses”.

    It’s a critique on how close-minded the Portuguese are and how they don’t care about reading because they think they are better than that. It is a call for the people to start giving more importance to literature and art.
